Mickey Swafford is the owner and head instructor of the Chattanooga Jiu-Jitsu Academy. He has trained Gracie Jiu-Jitsu for over 25 years, and is a certified instructor under both Eddie Camden and Professor Pedro Sauer, 6th degree black belt under Rickson and Helio Gracie. Mickey teaches and oversees all the classes at CJJA. His high energy, positive approach accommodates all types of students from children to adults. His diverse teaching style allows him to train MMA fighters as well as hosting women’s self defense seminars. Mickey runs the academy in a safe, family friendly environment with classes 6 days a week.
